Charlie was born in Saint Louis, Missouri and has been teaching music for seventeen years. He began playing the guitar at age 11. Throughout his musical career he has studied with some of the finest players and music educators in the area and from around the world. In addition to receiving his degree from the University of Missouri, where he studied classical guitar under the direction of Alan Rosenkoetter, he has studied with and performed in master classes for Pavel Steidl, Denis Azabagic, and Grisha Goryachev. Charlie resides in Saint Charles County and still teaches and plays locally in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area.
