The Dream Team is the volunteer team of Church on the Rock. People who use their gifts and talents to lead people to a God who is for them and help them discover His purpose for their life.

Greeter

Greeters help create a warm and welcoming first impression for everyone who walks through the doors. With a smile and a friendly hello, they help guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. Greeters offer a warm welcome and help people find where they need to go.

Hosts help guests feel at home during their visit. They assist people in the lobby, answer questions, and guide guests to the right places throughout the building. Hosts are friendly, approachable, and ready to help make someone’s experience at Church on the Rock easy and enjoyable.

Parking Team

The Parking Team is the first impression someone has with our church. They help direct traffic, guide people to parking spaces, and create a safe and smooth arrival experience. With a friendly wave and helpful guidance, they set the tone for a positive start to the service.

Usher

Ushers help create a comfortable and organized environment during the service. They assist guests in finding seats, help manage the flow of people when needed, and support different parts of the service. Ushers serve with attentiveness and a heart to help everyone have a meaningful experience.

The Bookstore Team helps connect people with books, Bibles, and resources that encourage spiritual growth and everyday life. Team members help guests find what they are looking for, answer questions, and create a friendly shopping experience.

The Rock Café Team serves coffee, drinks, and light refreshments while creating a welcoming space for people to connect and build community. Their friendly service helps create an environment where people can relax, have conversations, and feel at home at church.

The Water Baptism Team helps create a meaningful and welcoming experience for people taking this important step in their faith. Volunteers assist with preparation, guiding participants, and supporting the baptism process so each person feels encouraged and celebrated.

Section Communities

Section Communities help people build meaningful relationships within the church. Volunteers help connect with people in their seating section, welcome new faces, and encourage others to take their next step in community. This team helps create a church where everyone feels known, supported, and connected.

The God Is For You Classes help people know more about Church on the Rock, discover their gifts, and learn more about God’s plan for their lives. Volunteers help create a welcoming environment for participants by assisting with class logistics, greeting attendees, and supporting their learning experience.

Small Group Leader

Small Group Leaders create a place where people can grow in their faith and build real friendships. Leaders facilitate gatherings where people can discuss life, study the Bible, pray together, and support one another. Small groups help make a big church feel personal and connected.

The COTR Young Adults team helps create a space where people in their late teens and twenties can grow spiritually and build community. Volunteers help welcome guests, support gatherings and events, and encourage meaningful connections among young adults as they navigate life and faith.

The COTR Español team helps create a welcoming environment for our COTR Español campus. Volunteers serve in a variety of areas including greeting guests, Creative Arts, Kids ministry, and helping with services and events. This team helps people grow in their faith and build meaningful connections in a Spanish-speaking community.

Cards and Notes

The Cards and Notes Team shares encouragement through handwritten cards and messages. Whether celebrating a milestone, offering comfort during a difficult season, or simply reminding someone they are loved and prayed for, this team helps people feel seen and cared for.

Prayer Partners stand with people in prayer. They listen with compassion and pray with individuals who are seeking strength, healing or guidance. This role helps create a safe and supportive space where people can bring their needs to God.

Bereavement Team

The Bereavement Team offers care and support to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Through prayer, encouragement, and practical help, this team helps families feel supported and reminded that they are not alone during a difficult time.

Visitation Team (Hospital and Nursing Home)

The Visitation Team brings encouragement and prayer to people who are in hospitals or nursing homes. Through friendly visits, conversation, and prayer, team members help remind individuals that they are cared for, remembered, and supported by their church family.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program that helps people find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Team members serve by welcoming guests, helping facilitate groups, and creating a safe environment where people can experience healing, support, and lasting life change.

Celebrate Recovery Inside

This team serves individuals inside the St. Charles County Department of Corrections through the Celebrate Recovery program. Volunteers help lead meetings, share encouragement, and offer hope through faith-based support. This ministry helps people begin a journey of healing and transformation while they are incarcerated.

The Nursery**

The Nursery Team cares for infants and toddlers in a safe, loving environment during services. Volunteers help nurture and comfort our youngest children while giving parents peace of mind so they can fully participate in the service. This team plays an important role in helping families feel supported and welcomed at church.

Kids Rock**

Kids Rock volunteers help children discover that God is for them through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate experiences. Team members serve by welcoming kids, helping lead activities, assisting with crafts, and supporting the lesson time. This team helps create a safe and exciting environment where kids can feel love and grow in their faith.

Champions Club**

Champions Club provides a supportive, safe, and engaging environment for children with special needs. Volunteers work alongside families to help each child feel loved, included, and able to participate in church. This team helps create meaningful experiences where every child can learn about God at their own pace.

The Bridge**

The Bridge is a weekend experience designed specifically for 6th–8th grade students. Meeting during weekend services, The Bridge provides age-appropriate teaching and a place for middle school students to build friendships and grow in their faith. Volunteers help create a welcoming and engaging environment where students can connect, ask questions, and take the next step in their spiritual walk during this important stage of life.

Royal Rangers**

The Royal Rangers team helps mentor and guide boys as they grow in character, leadership, and faith. Volunteers support weekly gatherings and activities that help boys build friendships, learn practical skills, and grow in their relationship with God.

Uprising Youth volunteers invest in middle and high school students by helping lead gatherings, welcoming students, and supporting small groups and activities. This team helps create a place where students can grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover God’s purpose for their lives.

Celebration Place is a Celebrate Recovery program designed for children. Volunteers help create a safe and fun environment where kids learn healthy ways to handle their feelings and challenges while discovering God’s love and care for them.

The Landing is the student ministry of Celebrate Recovery for middle and high school students. Volunteers help create a safe place where students can find support, build healthy relationships, and experience healing from hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Outreach - Food Packing and Distribution

God is for our City Pantry Team helps serve individuals and families in our community by preparing and distributing food during outreach events. Volunteers work together to pack food, welcome guests, and help distribute items in an organized and caring environment. This team provides practical support while showing our community that God is for them.

Outreach - 4th of July Parade

The Parade Team helps represent Church on the Rock in the O'Fallon's Heritage and Freedom Fest parade. Volunteers assist with building and preparing the float, greeting people along the route, and helping create a fun and positive presence. This team helps share joy in our community and remind people that God is for them.

Outreach - Special Events

The Special Events Team helps support outreach events throughout the year such as Easter, Eat Sweet Night, and COTR’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Volunteers may assist with logistics, setup, activities, and general event support. This team helps create meaningful opportunities to serve our community and share God’s love.

Audio

The Audio Team helps create a clear and excellent sound experience during services and events. Volunteers assist with operating sound equipment so that worship, teaching, and other elements of the service can be heard clearly throughout the room without distractions.

The Broadcast Team helps bring our services to people in and beyond the room. Volunteers operate cameras, manage the live broadcast, and assist with editing video content so people can watch services and messages online.

The Band and Musicians Team leads the church in worship through music. Musicians use their musical gifts to help create an atmosphere where people can connect with God during services.

The Production Team supports the technical and behind-the-scenes elements of services and events. Volunteers pay close attention to details by helping coordinate service flow, move equipment, and ensure that all creative and technical elements work together smoothly.

The Photography and Video Team captures moments from services, events, and church life. Their work helps tell the story of what God is doing at Church on the Rock and allows those moments to be shared with others.

The Facilities Cleaning Team helps care for our church by keeping the building clean, welcoming, and ready for services and events. Volunteers assist with light cleaning tasks that help create a comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
